Landscapes Reimagined

The latest installation in The Chapel Gallery is SCAPES, a collection of works of our Years 7-9 Visual Arts students exploring how environments can be reshaped through memory, imagination, and experimentation. The exhibition features ceramics, watercolours, mixed media, natural printing techniques, and layered processes, and is available to our student body until Term 2 Week 3.

Students are enjoying interactive activities such as gently drawing into sand and transforming its surface into their own landscape, creating mountains, rivers, pathways, patterns, textures or abstract terrain. They are encouraged to think about perspective — are they looking from above, far away, or up close?

The interactive experience is further enhanced for Infants, Junior, and Middle School students as they follow a worksheet leading them to explore the exhibition in depth.

Thank you to Mrs Villareal for her creativity, skill, and tireless efforts in bringing art to life in The Chapel Gallery.
