Winning feels good.
But this win means more than a scoreline.
Across 2025, our students stepped onto courts and fields ready to compete, week after week, across two full terms of inter-school sport.
The ISS Competition Cup brought together students from Years 9 and 10, girls and boys, competing against strong opposition from Inaburra and Shire Christian School. Two sports each term. Multiple games counting toward the final result.
From netball and basketball to soccer, Oztag and speedminton, they trained with purpose, backed each other under pressure, and represented our school with pride.

This year, that consistency reaped a reward.
We’re proud to share that our students won the overall ISS Competition Cup. It’s a win built not just on skill, but on commitment, teamwork and sustained effort across every sport.
House captains Parker and Jacqui led the way, modelling resilience, encouragement and leadership both on and off the field.
Sport teaches lessons that reach far beyond the scoreboard. It builds confidence. Shapes character. And shows students what’s possible when they work together toward a shared goal.

And we’re not done yet.
In 2026, the ISS Competition will grow again, with pickleball joining the mix – two sports per term, more opportunities to compete, and more chances for students to stretch themselves.
