We are thrilled to share that our skipping team has achieved its best-ever results at the National Rope Skipping Championships in Brisbane, delivering an unforgettable performance across five days of competition.
Among many highlights, Ethan C and Jesse M broke the Australian record for Double Under Speed Relay for Males 16-18 years. This outstanding achievement reflects dedication and precision. Several of our athletes were also crowned Australian champions in both individual and team events, showcasing excellence in Freestyle, Speed, and Double Dutch categories. We now hold 14 National titles within our skippers. Special note for Isaac C, Year 2, who was awarded the 8 years and under Male Overall National Champion, and Milan P, Year 6, who was awarded the 12 year old Female Overall National Champion. These achievements are outstanding!
In a particularly proud moment for our School community, Bella R was awarded the Marcus Li Memorial Award. This prestigious national award recognises sportsmanship, resilience, and a commitment to supporting others—qualities that truly represent the spirit of our team and, most importantly, Bella. She is an inspiring team member.
These achievements are the result of months of preparation, discipline, and teamwork. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our parents and alumni coaches for their leadership and expertise, and to the parents and carers who have supported the team every step of the way—with transport, encouragement, and countless hours of practice.

Grands: This year our National event was again officially endorsed by the International Jump Rope Union, making it a world-class event. Under this endorsement, Skipping Australia ran a Grand Championship round for the 16+ age group. stage. We were represented in nine different events which is three times as many as last year. Belinda N, Ethan C and Jesse M placed 3rd for Double Dutch Single Freestyle, and Belinda N, Ethan C, Jesse M, and Jacinda Z placed 3rd for Double Dutch Speed Relay.
