Active Recreation

Year 9 Pass students recently enjoyed an outdoor excursion to Bundeena, which included sighting dolphins off the coast. The students undertook a beach walk, before hiking part of the coast track in the Royal National Park. High winds prevented them from kayaking, but they enjoyed an extended lunch together in the park.

Students are presently undertaking the PASS unit of study, Promoting Active Lifestyles.

The excursion to the Royal National Park where they experienced a day of active recreation filled with physical activity will help them complete an assessment, where they will create their own active recreation day using the excursion as inspiration.
