Mother’s Day Celebrations

In the lead-up to Mother’s Day, our youngest students welcomed their mothers and special friends for a morning of festivities at our Infants Campus.

The celebrations were kicked off with everyone dancing the Chicken Dance and Heel and Toe Polka together. It was a joy to witness the sea of smiles as our children and visitors danced across the playground.

After the excitement of dancing, our visitors were welcomed to the classrooms where a variety of activities were organised for the different grades.

In Kindergarten, the children created eye-catching fascinators for their mums to wear on their heads, sang a special song and presented them with a poem to keep. There was also the opportunity to work together beading bracelets.

Year 1 students, and their mums, explored their creativity together through drawing, playdough and bracelet making.

Year 2 mothers were treated to pamper stations, which included hairstyling sessions with clips and clasps, a relaxing hand massage and sparkling nail stickers.

Photo booths were very popular, providing spontaneous photo opportunities for all, and lots of laughter.

After enjoying time in the classrooms, everyone returned outside to enjoy a delicious ice cream together.

Thank you to all of our mothers and special friends, students and staff, for helping to make our Mother’s Day morning so special.
