Jesaiah rises to the Challenge

Jesaiah Creek, (Year 10) combined his passion for coding and saxophone to create an app that won the 2023 Apple’s Swift Student Challenge. Jesaiah’s app, called PocketSax, gives people the opportunity to play the saxophone without having to purchase an instrument.

One of his goals was to make musical instruments accessible to everyone, regardless of background or experience.

As part of his prize, Jesaiah received a scholarship to the Apple Developer Program.

This week, the Leader newspaper featured a story on Jesaiah.
