Sticking to a Winning Formula

The summer hockey season drew to a close this week with some great results from our students.

In the Semi-Finals, SGCS2 played a close match but unfortunately went down 3:2 when the opposing team scored in the last minutes of the game. They finished 3rd overall.

SGCS1 won their semi-final 12:0 and played Kirrawee in the Final, who have dominated the competition in recent years. Our students won their Grand Final 8:2 to take gold.

During the season, several parents reported that our students are often commended by other parents for being polite, respectful and always demonstrating sportsmanship.

Congratulations to our award winners and for every team member who has served as a great ambassador for our School. We are very proud of you.

Thank you to all our parent helpers who made a significant contribution to coaching and managing teams and for your sideline support. The season would not have been the success it was, without you.
