Snow Camp

More than 40 Year 9-10 PASS (Sports Studies) students and teachers went to Thredbo for a 3 day adventure.  Incredible creation. Incredible condition. Incredible crew. Over half had never skied before and many had never seen snow in person. As the bus drove past snow on the side of the road on the way up to the slopes, there was such a buzz of excitement.

Students participated in ski or snowboarding lessons, gaining skills and confidence quickly, progressing and taking on feedback from their instructors and themselves. As they carved down new trails, we could see a new confidence grow for many, something they can take away into other pursuits in their lives.

Snow Camp was a fabulous time to explore God’s creation, connect with one another and develop new skills. Thanks to everyone on the trip who played their part in making the trip so memorable.
