Over the summer holidays our two-storey Senior School demountable was relocated from the Woids Avenue side of the Hurstville Campus to the Bellevue Parade side. A number of people have asked our staff, how did that happen? Although it may seem like magic, the relocation of the building required much planning, precision and skill. To see how it did happen click here to view a video of the time-lapse footage.
The
relocation of this building enables preparation work to commence for the
construction of the new multi-level building currently under consideration by
Council.
This new building will house state-of-the-art Science facilities, a Visual Arts
centre, new classrooms and breakout learning spaces, a full size basketball
court, a new colonnade for undercover movement, additional staff facilities and
an underground carpark. The works will also include restoration of the
Chapel.
