Year 9 have embarked on a STEM project to create an outdoor lamp using energy efficient LED lights. This week the students created phototypes of their designs. Their 3D designs were wide ranging and featured many different shapes and materials. The students will work towards creating a fully functional model for display.
This project is part of the STEM Academy, an innovative year-long professional learning program focused on developing teachers’ capacity to collaboratively design integrated STEM curriculum for school students.
