School Leaders visit Parliament

Four SGCS Year 12 students recently attended the New South Wales Parliament as part of the Secondary Student Leadership Program, conducted by the NSW Parliamentary Education Branch. The students, Imogen Croucher, William Scott, Thomas Norman and Benjamin Oliver joined school leaders from across the State to learn more about NSW politics and the workings of Australia’s oldest Parliament.

The students had the privilege of attending a luncheon hosted by Mark Coure MP, Member for Oatley and Assistant Speaker, Legislative Assembly.

Secondary Student Leadership Program is a great opportunity for students to develop their knowledge of constitutional and parliamentary proceedings, as well as interact with their local member.
