This week our Year 2 students spent a morning at our Hurstville Campus as part of their transition to Year 3.
Students spent part of their orientation becoming acquainted with the facilities of out Hurstville Campus including the Library, the Hub and Junior School classrooms.
‘It’s so big’ and ‘there are so many books’ were two common refrains as the Year 2 students entered the Library. The visible pleasure the children took at the sight of the Library was heartening and reflected their understanding of the importance of reading.
However, nothing, it seems, beats sharing morning tea in the playground with new friends.
Welcome to our Hurstville Campus Year 2 and a big welcome to all the parents and extended family too.
