Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Year 6 robotics students have been meeting together separately from other year groups.
This enforced set-up has not dampened their enthusiasm, rather it has had the opposite effect. A walk through their meeting space revealed a hub of activity with some students working on Minecraft to map out a Mars Day activity whilst others worked on Lego Mindstorm constructing and programming the robots for planetary missions. Meanwhile a group of thrill-seeking students focused on designing a roller coaster complete with multicoloured lighting and flashing effects. There was much excited chatter as the students collaborated with each other to complete their missions, all overseen by the ever-enthusiastic Mrs Binns.
