Infants School finished Term 1 with a beautiful Easter Service for parents, friends and staff.
As the children lifted their voices in thanksgiving and praise to our Lord and Saviour, it was an opportunity for the audience to be still…to be reminded of how much we have to be thankful for.
During his talk, Mr Honor, Principal, posed the question, how do you measure love? With four recent weddings amongst his immediate family, he shared his insight (and joy) of the measure of love, God provides. Consider, for God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NIV).
The busyness of the Term’s end and the preparation for holidays was set aside for a brief time as we were reminded of God’s love and the significance of Easter.
“Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.
“Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read,
the lips of children and infants
you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?”
Matthew 21:16 (NIV)
