Good Manners

Teaching good manners to children requires consistency, perseverance, and good modelling.

This week, the theatre group, Brainstorm Productions staged their play, Magic Words, to our Junior School. The live performance encourages values and respect at school and online and is designed specifically for primary school students.

Two young actors play multiple roles in a story that showcases how selfishness and disrespect create unhappiness and chaos and in contrast being kind and compassionate makes our world a better place.

The live performance engaged the students through multiple costume changes, song, dance and audience participation. It provided a launch for our teachers to discuss the matter more deeply in devotions the next day.
