Our new Year 12 Prefects were given much to consider about their role when they attended the recent Ethical Leadership Day, at the Sydney Jewish Museum. The event brings together incoming senior school student leaders from across New South Wales.
Throughout the day, our students engaged in debates and workshops on ethical leadership. They also had the opportunity to tour the Museum’s new permanent exhibition, The Holocaust and Human Rights which highlights the complex history of human rights and the responsibility of leaders to impact communities and create lasting change.
Our students also heard from prominent leaders involved in Human Rights including Mr Chin Tan, Race Discrimination Commissioner for the Australian Human Rights Commission, Mr Adam McCurdie, Humantix, Genevieve Clay-Smith, Film Producer, Bus Stop Films, Deena Yako, Refugee Council of Australia and Rev. Dr Stephanie Dowrick.
