In Week 1, students from Years 3 – 6 competed in our annual Cross Country carnival at Kempt Field, Allawah.
There were blue skies when we set off for the annual carnival, but the weather soon changed. However, the rain and sodden fields did little to dampen our students’ enthusiasm for being outdoors and competing against each other. In fact, they seemed to relish the conditions. The course is a challenging one with a rigorous hill climb part the way through. Our students tackled it with gusto.
Students aged 8-10 years competed a 2km, whilst the 11-12 year old students undertook a 3km course.
Congratulations to the following students who gained the top four places in their age groups and therefore will represent our School at the upcoming CSSA State Cross Country Carnival at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre.
