Sydney turned on a beautiful blue-skied day for our Junior School’s celebration of Father’s Day.
A Continental Breakfast and an opportunity to visit their child’s classroom and see first-hand the learning that is taking place made for a joyful start to the day.
Our Jump Rope Teams and Dance Troupes presented an impressive display. Then it was time for the fathers to pit their skills against their offspring in handball, soccer or skipping. Their efforts were impressive and it soon became evident where many of the students get their competitive streak.
The numerous selfies of father and child, taken on the SGCS iPads and airdropped to iPhones, were testament to the success of the celebration.
What a wonderful way to start the working week.
