A Life of Gratitude

In a week full of concerts, exhibitions, formals and presentations, a much quieter but just as important event took place on Tuesday morning.

Every day, our School is blessed by people who selflessly give their time to support students in their education and development. We are so thankful for the willingness of our many parents, friends and retirees who serve the School in this way.

As a small token of our appreciation, Mr Honor, Principal hosted a lovely morning tea at Cafe12.  Our Junior School students presented cards of thanks and gifts of shortbread. Mr Honor spoke of his own father, now an octogenarian, who continues to serve others and by serving, he feels blessed.

At this hectic time of year, the ever-scrumptious food served by Cafe12, the wise words of Mr Honor, the gifts from small children and the opportunity to come together and reflect on the shared experience of serving our School, seemed enough to refresh and restore us to go back out into the world and carry on our work.

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus,  giving thanks to God the Father through him.
